Dr. Sandi Ferguson

Dr. Sandi Ferguson, the founder of Tutoring Resources, has a Doctorate in Education from Glendale University. It is her commitment to individual student success that has been the backbone of Tutoring Resources for more than 30 years. Sandi focuses primarily on higher level curriculum mathematics, ACT/SAT, and National Merit students. She readily admits to a fondness for designing distinctive study plans to address the unique goals of the individual student.

david stagg

David is a seasoned technical professional with degrees in Mathematics and Management. He brings with him a genuine love of all branches of mathematics, from simple Algebra through complex Calculus. 

In addition to curriculum study, David works with all levels of ACT/SAT students. His distinct strengths are empowering students to do their best work & encouraging them to take the lead in their own education.

Chole is a published author, renowned history reenactor, and seasoned tutor with nearly 18 years at Tutoring Resources.  She specializes in merging the best elements of the Pomodoro Time Management Technique with her own diverse academic and work experiences for helping Middle and High School students organize their busy lives.

In addition to tutoring in Algebra I, history, and study skills, Chole works as Office Manager for a technology company in Buffalo Grove.

Gloria's expertise in organization, detail, and technology is what keeps the Tutoring Resources offices running smoothly and efficiently.  As the first-line contact most parents and students have with us, she reflects our genuine commitment to the success of each student.

MARK CASSIERE

Mark comes to Tutoring Resources with a wealth of experience working with Middle and High
School students in the private sector, as well as in one-to-one tutoring.  He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Illinois - Urbana in 1991.

Mark's goal to teach students to be critical thinkers and problem solvers while preparing them for university and life learning is apparent through his affable, comprehensive approach to math, science, and the ACT/SAT standardized tests.


Established in 1989. 

Over 30 years serving the Barrington Area: BHS, Lake Zurich HS, Fremd, Stevenson, Glenbrook North, Glenbrook South, St Viators, and many more.

Our tutors have an average of 10 years tutoring experience.

60% of families enroll multiple children in our programs. 

In 2014 Tutoring Resources welcomed our first legacy, the high school children of two of our former students.

96% of our AP students achieved 4 or 5 on their exams.

Nearly all of our ACT students have received college scholarships or tuition reductions as a result of their academic and ACT scores.

83% of our PSAT students have become National Merit Scholars
